About CPE 135A IMPACT MODIFIER
CPE 135A (chlorinated polyethylene 135A) is the most mainstream and commonly used impact modifier (toughening agent) for PVC hard products, specifically designed to solve the problems of brittleness and low-temperature cracking of hard PVC.
1 Basic Information
-Full name: Chlorinated Polyethylene 135A
-Appearance: White powder, non-toxic
-Preparation: High density polyethylene (HDPE) modified by chlorination
2 Core Performance (Why Choose It)
1. Strong toughening and impact resistance
-Significantly improve the impact strength of hard PVC at room temperature/low temperature, and solve the problem of brittle cracking
-Forming a three-dimensional network structure in PVC, with long-lasting toughness
-Excellent low-temperature toughness, not easily cracked even at -40
2. Excellent compatibility with PVC
-Chlorine content of 35%, low crystallinity, uniform mixing with PVC, no precipitation
-Does not affect the rigidity, hardness, and processing flowability of PVC
3. Good thermal stability and weather resistance
-Molecular saturation, no double bonds, weather resistance, ozone resistance, aging resistance
-High thermal decomposition temperature ( 165 ), wide processing window
4. Flame retardant synergy
-Chlorine containing structure, synergistically with flame retardants, enhances PVC oxygen index and reduces smoke density
3 Main use (preferred for PVC hard products)
-Window and door profiles, plastic steel profiles (core application)
-PVC pipes, fittings, and trunking
-PVC foam board, extruded board, buckle board, wall panel
-Wood plastic composites (WPC)
-Hard PVC products with high filling and low temperature flexibility requirements
CPE 135A is the "toughness requirement" for hard PVC, which balances toughening, compatibility, weather resistance, and processing. It is a standard modifier for doors, windows, pipes, foam boards, and other applications.
