Usage
IM-60 acrylic impact modifier is designed for outdoor rigid PVC goods. You can adjust its usage amount according to how thick your finished products are and how long they will stay outdoors. Simply blend it with PVC powder, stabilizers, mineral fillers, lubricants and other additives inside a high-speed mixer. Once evenly mixed, the compound can be processed via extrusion or injection molding. This modifier is compatible with both eco-friendly calcium-zinc stabilizers and lead salt stabilizers, and works with common manufacturing methods such as single-screw extrusion, twin-screw extrusion and injection molding. It is widely used for producing plastic steel doors and windows, outdoor sheets, water pipes, profile PVC products fitting and SPC flooring.

Acrylic Impact Modifier IM-60 is a white core-shell copolymer powder tailored for rigid PVC modification. Its special layered structure enables high-efficiency impact reinforcement both at ambient temperature and low temperature, requiring only small addition amounts to upgrade PVC toughness significantly. Thanks to its all-acrylic saturated structure, it outperforms CPE and MBS in weather and UV resistance, resisting yellowing and cracking under prolonged outdoor sunlight and humid heat. This modifier shows great compatibility with all mainstream PVC stabilizers including calcium-zinc and lead salts. It facilitates smooth plasticization during processing, expands the allowable processing temperature range, and supports high-speed extrusion. End products added with IM-60 gain glossy, flawless surfaces with few fisheyes, so the product is widely adopted for outdoor plastic steel profiles, pvc pipes, profile PVC products fitting and SPC flooring.
