About CPE 135A for pvc pipe

Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE, typical grade CPE135A) is the most cost-effective impact modifier for rigid PVC pipes. Featuring excellent compatibility with PVC resin, CPE forms elastic dispersed phases inside the PVC matrix. It absorbs impact energy efficiently and overcomes the inherent brittleness of PVC, greatly improving low-temperature toughness and preventing pipe cracking during transportation, installation and cold service conditions.

With outstanding weather resistance and UV stability, CPE suits outdoor and buried PVC-U water supply pipes, drainage pipes and conduit pipes. It also promotes uniform plasticization and optimizes extrusion processability for smooth pipe surface. The recommended dosage is 812 phr. Widely adopted in the production of PVC-U pipes and fittings.
